At first blush you may be thinking, what happens if Syria falls? Well that would be a good thing, right? Maybe
If Syria falls then maybe Iran is denied a strategic place from which it is highly influential. It would certainly help Israel if Syria adopts a more moderate stance and is not under the proxy control of Iran.
