I am truly flabbergasted, the Republican House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) not two weeks after a vote to kill Medicare as we know it, says he's not "wedded to the idea".
What the hell? you have this guy whipping his caucus into voting for this crap and now he throws everyone one of them under the bus, by saying he's not wedded to the idea, it's just another idea out there among many?
Before the vote he was chiding the President for not showing leadership. He was out there on the internets saying to anyone who would listen that Republicans would LEAD on this issue. He was saying that the Ryan plan would be the marker for raising the debt ceiling and worthy of the US defaulting on its debts if the President didn't come along (well maybe he didn't say all of that) but he damn well led his flock to the edge of the cliff.
