I think Republicans are going to have to do a hell of a sell job on their base...this was stupid. Trying to privatize Medicare and have seniors be subject to the whims of the private insurance market is not a very smart move. Why the hell do you think Medicare came about in the first place? because insurance companies would not cover seniors or sick people, now they have to cover both.
